ALS and BLS Emergency Services

Freeport Fire-EMS provides the local community of Freeport, PA with Advanced Life Support (ALS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) Emergency Medical Services. Our service area includes Freeport Borough, South Buffalo Township, the majority of Buffalo Township, and a small portion of Winfield Township. At least 1 ambulance crew is always staffed.

 

Scheduled Ambulance Transport

For patients needing transport by stretcher

Freeport Fire-EMS also provides services for patients who need transport by stretcher to and from Hospitals and medical care facilities. These are usually scheduled through your healthcare provider that sets up patient transportation needs. Freeport Fire-EMS does not provide wheelchair van transportation. All scheduled ambulance transfers must have a valid medical necessity prior to scheduling.
